How to Apply

Our enrollment process is straightforward and designed to help both you and us determine if Forest Hill is the right fit. We encourage you to visit us before applying.

Schedule a Tour

Visit our campus and see Forest Hill in action. Observe a class in progress and ask every question you have. This is an essential first step for all families.

Submit Application

Complete the enrollment application for your child. We'll ask for basic information about your child's learning style, interests, and your family's educational priorities.

Family Meeting

We schedule a brief conversation with a parent or guardian. This helps us learn more about your child and share more about what daily life at Forest Hill looks like.

Receive Enrollment Offer

If it's a mutual fit, we'll extend a formal enrollment offer. You'll review and sign the Enrollment Agreement and submit the $800 enrollment deposit to secure your child's place.

Welcome to Forest Hill

You'll receive all the information you need for a confident, prepared start — including your child's learning pod placement, supply list, and orientation details.

Frequently Asked Questions

If your question isn't here, please reach out — we're happy to talk.

Forest Hill serves Kindergarten through 5th grade. We are organized into two learning pods: the K–2 pod for our youngest learners and the 3–5 pod for upper elementary students. We have plans to grow into a middle school in the coming years.
Small class sizes are a fundamental part of our model — not an afterthought. We intentionally keep our student body limited to ensure that every child is genuinely known by their teachers and the community. This is one of the key reasons families choose Forest Hill.
We are a progressive, inquiry-based school. That means children learn by doing, questioning, and discovering — while still receiving structured instruction in foundational literacy and mathematics. Outdoor learning is central to our curriculum. We are not a test-prep school, but children at Forest Hill develop the habits of mind that lead to academic success and meaningful lives.
The $800 enrollment deposit is non-refundable. It is applied toward your annual tuition balance, reducing the remaining balance to $10,200. The $750 activity fee is also non-refundable. For withdrawal and refund specifics, please review the full Enrollment Agreement provided during the admissions process.
After the enrollment deposit is applied, the remaining $10,200 balance can be paid in one of four ways: (1) a single lump sum, (2) two payments of $5,100 each, (3) four payments of $2,550 each, or (4) ten monthly installments of $1,020 per month from July through April. We'll work with you to select the plan that fits your family's needs.

Yes — Forest Hill runs a weekly summer camp program from June through August. Themed weeks include nature, science, arts, and adventure programming. The cost is $250 per week, with hours from 7:30 AM–5:30 PM. Current enrolled families receive priority registration.
Forest Hill was founded by two experienced educators with a combined 40+ years in education, leadership, and community involvement. Learn more about our story on the About page.
We use a corrective and restorative approach to discipline. We believe children are still developing, and our role is to guide them — not punish them. We use a tiered framework: minor issues are handled directly by the classroom teacher; repeated or more serious situations involve the head of school and family; serious situations involving safety receive an immediate and decisive response. Our goal is always restoration and growth, not shame or exclusion.
Send us an email at info@foresthillschool.org or use the contact form on our Contact page. A campus tour is the most important first step — we want every prospective family to see and feel the school before making a decision.
