Founded by two educators who have spent their careers asking what school could be at its very best — and who decided to build it themselves.

Forest Hill School was born from a simple but powerful conviction: that every child deserves a school where they are genuinely known — not just a number in a class roster.
Forest Hill is led by educators with more than 40 years of combined experience in school leadership, curriculum development, special education, and family engagement — educators who know what works and what doesn't.
Forest Hill is their answer to families who have been searching for a school that takes childhood seriously — where academics are rigorous and joyful, where the outdoors is a classroom, and where the community feels like family.

How We Treat Each Other
Our culture is built on five shared commitments. They are not rules — they are values we hold together, practiced every day by students and adults alike.
Safe
Children cannot learn when they don't feel safe. We protect every child's physical and emotional security — always.
Kind
Kindness is taught explicitly and practiced daily — with peers, teachers, and ourselves. It is the foundation of everything else.
Responsible
Children learn that their choices matter — to themselves, their classmates, and their community. Accountability builds character.
Learn
We come prepared, present, and open — with the materials we need and the mindset to grow. This is a mutual expectation for students and teachers alike.
